Journey of a lifetime: Drug Education
Your task is to complete an investigation into three drugs and record the long and short term effects of these drugs on the body template on page 53 in your ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ Booklet. You must do cigarettes and alcohol as the first two drugs and you may choose the third drug to research. Here is a page of useful websites.

Hi Group 3 – if you’ve been away from school, you’ve missed out on meeting student teacher Miss Wiffen who is working with our class. She is taking the class until the end of term. We are working on a project which requires you (the students) to become the teachers. As a group of four you will choose an environmental issue that effects our catchments or oceans and teach a 30 min. lesson about your issue to the rest of the class. here is a journal to help you work through this assignment Workshop Journal.

Healthy Catchments Healthy Oceans
Since beginning the water unit we have learnt about catchments and drainage basins in Victoria. Last week we completed a puzzle of all the drainage basins in Victoria. We have just finished creating Overlay Maps of the Corangamite Catchment (Geelong is a part of this catchment area). Water: Healthy Catchments Healthy Oceans
Yes we have began a new topic in MESH! This enviromentally focused unit of ‘Healthy Catchments – Healthy Oceans’ began on Monday. We got into an environmental mindset by watching the Dr. Seuss cartoon ‘The Lorax’ and discussed the enviromental issues that the story addressed. I then got each member of the class to complete What do you know about water?. Complete this sheet and bring it to class if you have been away.
Ancient Civilisations: Matrix Tasks
